Willemoes and the WreckOngoing
Annebjerg Stræde 1, 4500 Nykøbing Sj
On a walk at Ringsted Cemetery, we stop at grave sites for known and unknown people who have in common that they have been linked to Ringsted.
The cemetery is a green oasis in the city. Here is peace and quiet, memories and longing. On the tour around, we hear about some of the human destinies that hide behind the tombstones and get an insight into their life history.
Ringsted Cemetery was put into use in 1840 and at that time was planned for 3777 burial places. Since then, the cemetery has been expanded several times, so that there are now 6477 burial spaces.
It is necessary to buy a ticket in advance.
