Entrance to the museum:
Adult: 30 DKK
Children under 18 years: free admission.
Pensioner and student: DKK 25.
Groups of a minimum of 12 people, pr. person: 25 kr.
Access to the archive is free.
Companion for the disabled with companion card: free admission.
You can buy ticket at the door or you have the opportunity to buy your ticket in advance here.
Members of the local museum association have free admission. Members of other Museum Vestsjællands museum associations / clubs receive 1/2 price on the entrance ticket.
Educational institutions and daycare facilities:
Free admission for daycare, crèche, kindergarten, school, SFO and youth education.
Free entrance for the education and teacher education.
Teachers and educational staff have free entry in the company of children and student groups.

You will find free parking in the public car park on Køgevej (opposite Ørnevej).
It is a 15-minute walk from Ringsted Station to the museum.

Together with most of the city, Museum Vestsjælland is behind it every other year Ringsted Medieval Festival in and around Sct. Bendt's Church. The festival pays homage to the Valdemars with plays, marketplace and many other activities.

In the café you can buy tea, coffee and sweets.
The store
The museum shop has an exclusive selection of cultural-historical souvenirs, solid toys, local history books and artist biographies. The gastro-interested guest can find inspiration in local honey products and the good, freshly ground and organic rye and wheat flour from Ringsted Windmill. Look into the Museum shop and find a good offer.
There is always free access to the store during normal opening hours.
