Film at Ringsted Archive Liberation days in 1945

The film, which will be shown at Ringsted Museum and Archive, is a here and now image of a very special period in Ringsted's history in May 1945.

Film clips and photos from the days of liberation have been digitized and cut together into a film. The unique private footage shows happy people in the street at a spontaneous folk festival and a celebration that the war was finally over. No more blackouts, curfews and fear of the horrors of war.

The film lasts approx. 40 min.

Coffee and cake are included in the ticket price.
