History, culture and exciting events
The Thinghouse - Ringsted Museum
Welcome to the cozy setting of Tingstedet. Sit back in the soft armchairs with a nice hot cup of coffee and enjoy the beautiful view of Sct. Bendts Kirke.
You can also experience history up close, through the ultra-short exhibition about Ringsted City. See, for example, the city's fire in 1806 with VR glasses.
The shop sells a selection of local goods. Are you looking for a hostess gift or birthday present? Stop by Tingstedet and see the selection.
EXHIBITION - Stories from Ringsted
The exhibition is a short introduction to Ringsted's extensive history. There is something here for both tourists and local residents. Experience, among other things, Ringsted's expansion through a video installation, and listen to the stories of the residents of Ringsted about their own town. The fire in Sct. Bendts Kirke in 1806 can be experienced up close through virtual reality.
