Museum Vestsjælland, together with 10 other museums and private companies across the country, has joined forces to create a new story about Denmark as a production country.
In our school service, we are now working on the project 'Production Denmark', which is a teaching course that aims to eliminate outdated prejudices about industrial work, strengthen the view of skilled workers and give children and young people a contemporary picture of modern production in Denmark.
The project has been started and is being run in collaboration between the Workers' Museum in Copenhagen and the Industrial Museum in Horsens.
TV2 Øst was involved in a teaching day where a class from Sorø visited Slagelse Museum to learn more about the working lives of apprentices then and now.
