Willemoes and the WreckOngoing
Annebjerg Stræde 1, 4500 Nykøbing Sj
Jørgen Mogensen from the Local Archive in Dianalund has dug into historical sources and found documents that can shed light on the fates of three women from the local area.
Hear about an unmarried woman from our time who had 10 children with her sister's husband in 10 years. Jørgen Mogensen says that the strangest thing is that until he started digging into the history, she was completely unknown.
Take part in considering whether the sentence was fair when Ane Andersdattter was sentenced? A crime mystery from Ruds Vedby in the 19th century, where the documents from the trial are reviewed.
Ane Margrethe was born in 1805 to a single mother in Ruds Vedby. What was her life like as the daughter of a fallen woman?
Jørgen Mogensen, who is head of the Local Archive in Dianalund and a member of the Sorø Museum Association, unfolds the stories in the evening's lecture.
Price: members of the Sorø Museum Association have free entry. Non-members: DKK 75.
Tickets are bought at the door.
