The historic garden returns home

The Nordea Foundation has donated DKK 590.308 to the project "The historical garden returns home" - a green urban space at the Grundtvig school in Nykøbing Zealand. Museum Vestsjælland partially moves in here during the summer.

Museum inspector Thomas Egebjerg Johansen and the volunteer "luge wives" associated with Odsherred's Museum at Annebjerggård have jointly devised the project, where the garden at Annebjerggård will be moved to a new green urban space in Nykøbing Sjælland with, among other things, cultural historical plants in raised beds, "wild" beds around existing trees, tables and benches that are also accessible to wheelchair users and a greenhouse built from recycled materials from the local company NJORD. A total of 160 meters of beds will be laid. The funds from the Nordea Foundation and the museum's co-financing means that the project is fully financed.

We look forward to getting started.
