In the heart of Nykøbing lies Odsherred Museum, and here the new, beautiful historical garden is finally finished!

The gardeners have moved over 200 plants, and beds, a fire pit and a fantastic pavilion have been built. The historic garden is supported by Nordea-fonden from the 'Here we grow' fund.

The garden was created by the Lugekonerne from the garden at Annebjerggård, and here they have finished moving the historical plants that transform an abandoned schoolyard into a green museum yard. The garden, together with the museum, is the first step towards the old Grundtvig School's new life as a cultural center in Nykøbing.

The huge amount of work was celebrated with a festive opening – thanks to everyone who came, and a big thank you to all the volunteers. We are very proud of the new museum yard.
