Erasmus+ program v/ Museum Vestsjælland "Sharing Knowledge, Creating Impact"

"Sharing Knowledge, Creating Impact" is a strategic partnership project which focuses on the exchange of experience between project partners who work within communication, education and audience development.

In "Sharing Knowledge, Creating Impact" we work together, share experiences and learn from each other's different approaches to the field.

The project is a collaboration between Museum Vestsjælland and the following museum partners:

During projects, the partners participate in 4 "employee exchanges":

  • 1st Exchange 25 – 30 May 2022: Jorvik Viking Festival, York, UK
  • 2. Exchange 5 – 11 September 2022: Dublinia, Dublin, Ireland
  • 3. Exchange 28 – 31 August 2023 Museum Vestsjælland, Denmark
  • 4. Exchange 23 – 29 October 2023 Stavanger, Norway

Museum Vestsjælland has had a visit!

In week 35, 2023, MVE had some special guests or should we say "colleagues" visit. We welcomed our international museum colleagues from Dublin, Dublinia – The heart of Viking and Medieval Dublin (Kathrine McCormack and Patrick Herbage), from York, Jorvik Viking Center (Sarah Strong and Rachel Bishop) and from Stavanger, Archaeological Museum (Ellen Hagen, Steffen Simenstad and Heidi Wevle).

From Monday 29/8 to Thursday 31/8, MVE was visited by our European museum colleagues and partners in the Sharing-Knowledge, Creating Impact project, which MVE has participated in since 2022. The knowledge sharing project has a main focus on dissemination and education. The group spent the visiting days in Holbæk, Odsherred and Kalundborg, where they visited several of our departments and participated in a number of practical workshop sessions organized by the project leaders from MVE who work, among other things. within communication, teaching and audience development. Knowledge and experiences were exchanged with a particular focus on how we work in a learning context with different target groups. The visit culminated in a seminar day for the team at Holbæk Museum.
