Museum Vestsjælland sends DKK 26.563 to Sammen for Ukraine

Museum Vestsjælland supports Sammen for Ukraine with entrance fees from the Easter week, a total of DKK 26.563.

Since Russia invaded Ukraine almost two and a half months ago, the people of Ukraine have needed help and the country fundraiser, Together for Ukraine, which raises money for 18 different aid organizations, is therefore still active.

In Museum Vestsjælland, there is a great desire to also contribute with financial support to the humanitarian aid and before Easter it was decided that the museum donates all entrance fees from ticket sales during the Easter week.

Museum director Eskil Vagn Olsen says: Today, the museum has transferred DKK 26.563 to Sammen for Ukraine. That's all the entrance fee in the Easter week. The initiative has been very well received by the guests. In some cases, there have been some who have bought more tickets than they should have to support the good cause. ”

In addition to the entrance fee, the museum has also donated income from participation in an art workshop and lectures about the Ukrainian artist Marija Prymatjenko at Odsherreds Kunstmuseum.
