Tour description:
The tour begins in the courtyard of one of the city's oldest buildings, Christian IV's Inn. The inn currently houses the Sorø Museum. Inside, we look at 'Time Travel' - the impressive 13,5 meter man-high frieze that winds around the corridors and up the stairs with beautiful scenes, scenes and important people from Sorø's history. The tour continues with stories about the golden age, BS Ingemann and Sorø Academy. The market town life around the year 1900 unfolds in two recreated clunky rooms.
