Take a seat and listen to outreach supervisor Jeanette Rask Bertelsen and owner of Guerilla Coffee Company in Sorø Haakon Christian Kruuse Martin talk about the history of coffee and the plantations where the coffee comes from.
The lecture begins in the hall at Sorø Museum, where Haakon conjures up specially brewed coffee for the occasion, which is enjoyed with a delicious pastry.
Then we will hear about the history of coffee, coffee plantations, and coffee in 1700th-century Denmark, where Sorø's own Ludvig Holberg was an avid coffee drinker.
On the occasion of the Sorø Historical Festival, we will be nerding out about coffee and history at Sorø Museum – with a special focus on the 1700th century. The lecture will conclude with a tour of the museum's own coffee exhibition.
It is necessary to buy a ticket in advance.
Ticket price 150 DKK including coffee, cake and admission to the museum.
