Christmas fun at Sorø Museum – free admission all weekend.
In 2026, we're turning up the Christmas cheer at Sorø Museum - and everyone is invited! Both days there is free admission to both the Christmas market and the museum.
At this year's Christmas market, you can explore a multitude of cozy stalls and find Christmas gifts, Christmas decorations and small temptations.
As something completely new, you can get your hands on hand-painted Christmas baubles from Katrine Hjortholm from Kuglejul – and have a name or a special date painted on the bauble, making it completely personal.
You can also follow the scent of freshly made sweets when Bajrami Bolcher by Cemal Bajrami offers colorful sweets and tastings.
The stalls are full of handmade crafts and Christmas cheer: jewelry, crocheted Christmas decorations, felted shoes and hats, blacksmithing, plush teddy bears, pillows and embroidery, paper Christmas decorations, Christmas crunch and of course home-knitted mittens – and much, much more.
When you need a break, you can settle down in the museum's cozy tavern, where hot mulled wine, apple slices and cocoa are served.
And maybe you'll be lucky? In the museum's tombola you can buy tickets and try your luck with the chance to win some great prizes.
So bring your family and friends for a weekend filled with Christmas lights, crafts, sweets and a real museum Christmas atmosphere at Sorø Museum.
