Application

Wild Onions have been used mostly as a vegetable. They appear early in the spring and can be used as a green sprinkle instead of chives.

Medicinally, Wild Onions have some cholesterol-lowering effects. However, in the onion family, Garlic is the most commonly used medicinally.

Other uses include that Wild Onion has been used as a moth repellent.
