Application

Dandelion has been used as a medicinal plant since the 1300th century. It has been used to treat intestinal worms. It has also been used to treat various types of women's diseases, especially in connection with menstruation and pregnancy.

As late as around 1860, dried Tandbaeger was available in pharmacies. Its use is described as being against wasting disease and shortness of breath. Tandbaeger was also said to be effective against nausea, especially in connection with motion sickness.
