Application
Edible hen's tooth has not been commonly used as a herbal medicine. It has mainly been grown for animal feed. Especially on sandy soils in West Jutland, hen's tooth was grown instead of red clover.
Edible dog's tooth has been used as a dye plant. It gives yarn a yellow color.
