Application
Wild garlic used medicinally has roughly the same effect as garlic. Wild garlic strengthens the immune system and has an antibiotic effect. Wild garlic can also help with diarrhea, loss of appetite, colic and flatulence.
Ramsons have a very high content of vitamin C, which is great in early spring when there isn't much fresh greens to be found in nature or the garden.
Ramsons have been used as a vegetable for a long time. The bulbs are oblong and not very large. They can be prepared like regular onions. In modern cooking, ramson leaves are widely used. They can be picked from the beginning of March until the flowers bloom. After that, the leaves become coarse and suitable for eating. Fresh ramson leaves can be frozen, so you can have a supply for the rest of the year.
