The plant is poisonous.

Application

Hollow-rooted larch spore has not been widely used as a medicinal plant. Extracts of the root have a weak analgesic and sedative effect. The root also has some anti-inflammatory and anti-allergenic effect. Larch spore has been studied for its effect against certain forms of cancer, it may have an inhibitory effect on tumors.

Ingredients

The root contains the alkaloid bulbocapnine.
