Application
As the name suggests, bloodroot has been used to stop bleeding and as an aid to wound healing. It has also been used to treat hemorrhoids and burns.
Bibernelle is a lovely herb, especially in early spring. The tender, fresh leaves have a nice cucumber-like flavor.
Ingredients
The leaves contain vitamins and tannins.
