Application

Black nightshade has been used as a herbal medicine since the Middle Ages. It is mainly used externally, as it is toxic if ingested. It has been used especially for eczema and other skin conditions.

Internally, Black Nightshade has been used as a remedy for epilepsy.

Black Nightshade has black glossy berries the size of small morels. The berries are poisonous.

Ingredients

Black nightshade contains the toxins solanine and solanidine.
