Although the summer weather may have been teasing, we have had a really good museum summer in the departments.
During the school summer holidays (weeks 26-32), we had a total of 19.653 visitors to our museums. This is an increase of 69 percent compared to the same period last year. All our visiting places have made great progress. The highlights are the Painting Garden, Kalundborg Museum with the Carmen Curlers exhibition, and the exhibition "Traces of Resonance" at Odsherred's Art Museum, all 3 of which have attracted a great many visitors. In addition, there are more visits from cruise tourists in Kalundborg.
Museum director Eskil Vagn Olsen is enthusiastic: "We are very happy that both children's activities and exhibitions have been popular with the guests. It bodes well for the rest of the year, when we have several good activities and exhibitions on the programme.
