On Sunday, April 27, we invite you to an atmospheric musical experience in the museum courtyard at Malergården, when the Værløse Folk Musicians play under the open sky. They start at 13.00:XNUMX PM and play for an hour.
Værløse Folk Musicians are on their annual weekend trip, and this time the trip is to the Rørvig area. The orchestra consists of 12 talented musicians who master a varied combination of acoustic instruments. They deliver entertaining folk music from many countries, including Denmark, Sweden and Ireland. There may even be the opportunity for a little singing!
A wide folk music repertoire
Værløse Folkemusikanter has an impressive collection of melodies from all over the world. They play mainly arranged folk music and provide a live concert experience where the audience can enjoy the music – and maybe even dance along! The repertoire includes everything from Danish and Nordic melodies to music from England, Scotland, France, the Balkans, Russia, Latin America and many more places.
A proud tradition
Since the orchestra's inception in 1978, Værløse Folkemusikanter has spread the joy of playing both locally and internationally. They have participated in fiddler competitions, performed on Danmarks Radio and played at countless festive occasions. With their vast experience and passion for folk music, they create a unique atmosphere, no matter where they play.
Events are free when the entrance fee is paid.
