Shadow games and shadow art during the winter holidays

In the darkness of winter, we go in search of the secrets of the shadows in the living rooms of the artists' home Malergården and we play with shadows in our own art.

We go hunting with binoculars and flashlight and look for shadows in the art and in the large garden. Afterwards we go to the Art Workshop. Here we experiment with fun techniques where you use light and shadow to create beautiful silhouettes, drawings, paintings and shadow figures to create your own shadow theatre. Take the masterpieces home with you.

It is a good idea to bring a flashlight and mobile camera.

Shadow play is for children and their adults. Children must be accompanied by a participating and paying adult. Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance.

Remaining tickets are for sale at the door.

Price: DKK 50 per participant. Adults also pay entrance to the museum at the door. Children under 18 pay only for the activity and have free entry.
