The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Try being a school student like 100 years ago and experience a different school day with screen-free teaching at Flakkebjerg School Museum.
Arrive on time and try to do math together on the blackboard with math stories, practice the old letters with pen and ink, and memorize the teacher's favorite Bible story in verse.
A school day 100 years ago is also about being polite and behaving in a way that the teacher thinks is proper.
Remember to put your mobile phone and computer in your bag before class, because there is no need for it in the school room.
During recess we play outside, also without mobile phones and our heart rate rises when we play 'come home all my chickens', the city sleeps and the meat is pounded.
We will also taste fatty foods – quick food on the go.
The preschool in Flakkebjerg is among the oldest in Denmark and remains as it was from the time of the preschool from 1904 to 1962. In the schoolroom there are blackboards, pencils and observation pictures and the teacher's residence contains a living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom.
Price: DKK 50 per person, child as adult
Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance.
Remaining tickets are for sale at the door - only with mobilepay.
The ticket includes fatty foods.
