Tour for the whole family in Ringsted Windmill

Morten "miller" invites you on a tour of Ringsted Windmill and shows how grain is made into flour. Try it yourself afterwards in the museum's grain workshop.

Grain has been ground for over 100 years at Ringsted Windmill. Morten "Møller" has been here for many years, and on the tour he tells about how the power of the wind can transform grain into flour.

After the tour in the mill, the museum's grain workshop is open, where you can try your hand at grinding grain, as was done in ancient times or grinding grain on a hand grinder, which has the same technique as the grinder in the mill.

Feel free to take the ground flour home with you.

Price: DKK 25 per participant plus entrance ticket to the museum. Children under the age of 18 have a free entrance ticket.

Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance. Remaining tickets are for sale at the door.

The visit to the mill is not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
