The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Taste, feel and sense on a time journey back to the Stone Age and Bronze Age, where children and adults can dive into the life and crafts of the past together.
Over the course of a few pleasant hours, you can grind your own flour on the stone and work up a sweat like the Stone Age children.
You can fry flatbread over an open fire and taste your own handiwork.
You can stir together herb pesto from local herbs.
And you can try your hand at making wool into thread and find out how Bronze Age clothing was made.
The museum's curator provides vivid stories about life in ancient times and guides you through the various activities.
Come and try – with your hands, nose and taste buds. It's a perfect activity for curious children and their adults.
Everyone is welcome. The activity is for children and their adults. Children must be accompanied by a participating and paying adult.
