The artist's paradise - Tour of Malergården

Experience the special atmosphere in the Swane family's artist home on a tour through the living rooms in Malergården, which is beautifully located by the Lammefjorden.

Sigurd and Agnete Swane wanted to combine artistic life with farming, an ornamental garden and the magnificent nature and create a Paradise on earth.

Malergården is one of the few preserved and authentic artists' homes in Denmark. The entire farm complex was built according to Agnete's specific instructions in 1934.
The main house was renovated in 2022 and has the original color scheme.

Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance. Remaining tickets are for sale at the door. Ticket is incl. entrance to the museum.
