The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Make your own toys like in the 1930s and 40s, when children didn't have many toys to buy. Get help from Kalundborg Museum to get started.
Factory-made and mass-produced toys are a relatively new phenomenon. Throughout history, many toys have been home-made with a strong personal touch, and this has created a lot of joy.
Kalundborg Museum has set up a do-it-yourself toy workshop filled with various materials, so we are ready to throw ourselves into making our very own personal toys. We will, among other things, make spinning tops from postcards, rag dolls and cork ships and of course play with glass marbles.
We end the day with juice and cake.
DIY toys are suitable for children aged 4-8 years accompanied by an adult.
Price:
Child: 40 DKK. Children under 18 years of age have free admission.
Adult: 40 kr. plus regular admission = 50 kr.
The ticket includes soda and cake.
Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance.
Remaining tickets are for sale at the door.
