Make a windmill – free windmill kit

Children under the age of 18 receive a free windmill kit at Ringsted Museum and Archives, so they can make a windmill that can spin just as beautifully as Ringsted Windmill.

Throughout the summer holidays, there is a free windmill kit for the museum's children's guests. Get it from the museum host. The kit contains everything you need to make a windmill. Sit in the museum's children's corner and follow the written instructions for the windmill. When you have finished making it, you can visit Ringsted Windmill, which is right next door. Go up the hill and get wind in your windmill and experience how well it works.

Registration is not necessary.

The activity is part of Ringsted Municipality Summer Fun 2025.

Participation is free once the museum entrance ticket has been paid.
Children under 18 have free entry.

There is one free kit per child. Additional kits cost DKK 15 each.
