carmen curlers – stagedOngoing
Adelgade 23, 4400 Kalundborg
Get into the Christmas spirit at Kalundborg Museum. Enjoy the Christmas decorations and make Christmas decorations yourself like in the old days, when the grandparents were young.
The large Christmas tree in the museum yard welcomes you.
Inside, some Christmas decorations have crept into the small living room in the farmhouse in the exhibition "carmen curlers - staged". Here are contemporary Advent wreaths, crawling elves and a gnome landscape. Even an authentic packing calendar from a "do it yourself" project from the 70s has been made room for with gift wrap in a 50-year-old design.
In the museum's cozy Christmas room, there is paper and scissors to make Christmas decorations. Braid a Christmas heart, make a mousetrap, fold a star or something completely different. There are manuals and templates for the various decorations. Feel free to take home your own decorations.
The museum shop has a nice selection of calendar gifts, Christmas gifts and hostess gifts and sells soft drinks and hot drinks.
Juleklip is open from 30 November to 22 December during the museum's regular opening hours.
Cutting Christmas decorations is free when the entrance ticket has been paid.
