The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Learn to send secret messages and hidden codes just like the resistance fighters did during World War II to avoid detection.
At our Code Cracking workshop, you and your family can try writing and deciphering messages that look completely ordinary – but which in reality hide secret messages.
Maybe it's a postcard with hidden words in the picture... or a text where words and numbers reveal a secret meeting place or a canceled auction?
Of course, the warring parties tried to break each other's codes, so it was very important to have a strong code that only the initiated understood.
During the workshop you will try to create your own codes and send coded messages to each other.
You will also receive coded messages that you must try to crack.
The workshop is perfect for curious children between the ages of 7 and 13 – and their adults. A fun and exciting summer holiday activity for the whole family
Price – Child: 50 DKK. Adult: 90 DKK. incl. entrance. Children under 18 years of age have free entrance.
Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance. Remaining tickets are for sale at the door.
