The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Color film at Ringsted Archive with the Tourist Association's Ringsted film from 1952. Tourism is in its infancy and the film gives a typical image of the time.
In the early 1950s, E. Møller Nielsen shot a film which, with beautiful color images, was supposed to market Ringsted to tourists. After the Second World War, the wheels were moving again and people had enough money for a Sunday trip or a small holiday.
Enjoy the film with the enterprising city's self-understanding at a leisurely pace with great clips from city and country.
The film lasts approximately 1 hour and is silent.
Coffee/tea and cake are included in the ticket.
It is necessary to buy a ticket in advance.
