Night of the Dead - Doctor Frankenstein's Monster

Night of the Dead at Slagelse Museum

The doctor Victor Frankenstein pays the Night of the Dead a gruesome visit to the Slagelse Museum. He works like mad to create life out of dead human bodies.

His secret laboratory vibrates with uneasiness and anticipation. What is the riddle of life? And what is death?

Dr. Frankenstein procures corpses in the alleys of darkness and puts everything into his creation. Did he succeed in bringing the monster to life?

The story was written in 1816 by the young writer Mary Shelley. Her 200-year-old questions about life and death are at least as relevant today.

In the museum's historic street, you can meet the sharp Mary Shelley, the cynical Viktor Frankenstein, the monster with no name, grim corpse robbers and an undertaker. (recommended age min. 8 years and accompanied by an adult)

On the first floor of the museum, the horror is adapted to the little guests (recommended age 3 – 8 years): here is a factory with a monster machine that produces monsters in droves – and they hide in the dark.

The cafe is decorated for Halloween, selling hot coffee and cocoa as well as spooky children's drinks.

Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance. Remaining tickets for sale at the door.

Price: DKK 50 for an adult. Children under the age of 18, accompanied by an adult, have free entry.
