Decorate white porcelain and set the table with your own design. The design workshop at Holbæk Museum is open on selected days during the summer holidays.
Drawing on porcelain is pure fun, concentration and relaxation, and all ages can participate.
The museum's curator gives a short version of the history of porcelain in Denmark, which is particularly about the blue-fluted porcelain from the Royal Porcelain Factory.
Get instructions on how to transform a white cup or plate into a unique piece ready to take home to the table. You can try your hand at traditional patterns such as the blue fluting or you can throw yourself into your own design. The motif and colors are completely up to you.
We draw on the white porcelain with special markers.
The ticket includes one piece of porcelain of your choice (e.g. plate or mug), and it is possible to purchase additional porcelain on site for 30 DKK per piece (via mobilepay).
You can take your painted porcelain home immediately, and you will receive instructions on how to dry it in a regular oven before use.
Porcelain painting is for both children and adults.
There are a limited number of places.
Be sure of a place and buy a ticket in advance. Remaining tickets are for sale at the door.
The ticket includes a piece of white porcelain.
