The last Viking ship?Ongoing
Klostrstræde 18, 4300 Holbæk
Join us for a fun summer holiday experience where the whole family can try their hand at Viking crafts.
The shipbuilding yard at Holbæk Harbour is buzzing with life. Boats are still being built here from wood – just like 1.000 years ago. During the summer holidays, you can step into the workshop together and build your own – with real tools in hand under expert guidance.
Among other things, we will need an axe – therefore children must be over 8 years old and accompanied by an adult.
When we finish building, we go up to the museum, where we will see the real and 900-year-old Gislinge boat up close.
Each group is only 8 children, so the experience is calm and exclusive.
Please note – we start at the Coastal Life Center at the harbor in Holbæk and end at Holbæk Museum.
There are limited seats, so we recommend buying tickets well in advance.
Max two adults per child.
Price:
50 kr. for a child. 110 kr. for an adult, incl. entrance to the museum. 50 kr. for a member of a local museum association
Note: Unless otherwise stated, this event will be held in Danish
