Sorø Museum invites you to a special banco game for families with children, where we delve into fascinating stories from the occupation period.
Come to a different kind of banco game where history comes alive. We have colored 10 of the numbers on the banco board red, and every time a red number is called out, the museum tells a story about things from that time that tell of resistance, everyday life and scarce resources. For example: the freedom fighters' bracelets, hot water bottles and shoes made of plaice skin and cardboard.
Come play along and experience history in a whole new way.
There is a small prize for everyone who plays along.
In 2025, it will be 85 years since Denmark was occupied by German troops and 80 years since Germany surrendered and Denmark was liberated. In the intervening 5 years, the everyday life of the Danes was turned upside down in many ways, although many tried to have as normal a daily life as possible.
It is for children and accompanying adults, and it is necessary to purchase a ticket in advance.
Price:
Adult incl. entrance fee 85 kr.
Child incl. free admission 40 kr.
