Nordmus- the collaboration

Nordmus

NORDMUS is a network which establishes a regional Danish-German museum association. The region across the Baltic Sea has for millennia been characterized by the same cultural influences both in what is now Schleswig-Holstein and in Denmark.

The project must therefore make visible and utilize the regional cultural riches, so that the interest in the cross-border region can be aroused and the regional awareness promoted.

The main purpose is to establish a long-term, stable platform for cooperation between museums in the area across the Danish-German border. The project builds and maintains a cross-border network of museums, research institutions and cultural heritage institutions that cater for both professional sparring and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
