Finally we were able to open the doors to Peter Martensen's 'Diary from Tasilik' at Odsherreds Kunstmuseum. A lot of guests showed up, we thank you for the great interest!

Museum director Eskil Vagn Olsen and curator Jesse-Lee Costa Dollerup gave speeches, and finally Peter Martensen himself had the floor. He talked about his time in Odsherred, how he had ended up here, and how his art had developed since his time in Copenhagen – how the property and Odsherred had inspired him in a whole new way.

The exhibition 'Diary from Tasilik' is structured like a diary and contains an incredible number of works. What started as a few extra works quickly ended up with eight extra works, so remember to set aside plenty of time to experience the exhibition.

The works are being shown together in one place for the first time, and it is a unique opportunity to enter Martensen's sensual and alluring visual universe.

Several of the works have been loaned to the museum by collectors, they also received a special thank you at the opening, and a big thank you must also be said for the opportunity here.
