Lis Paludan has donated hundreds of her things to Holbæk Museum

Lis Paludan is one of the most productive textile designers in Denmark. In the 1970s, her easily recognizable works helped to create a new style within needlework

When Lis Paludan moved to a nursing home earlier this year, she chose to donate hundreds of her things to Holbæk Museum. The donation contains many of the things that filled her study: Materials, models, books, drafts and pages from magazines that published her work, a series of folders and analyses, as well as work samples.

Minna Kragelund, who has been in contact with Lis Paludan's daughter in connection with the donation, that Lis Paludan has now put the pencil and crochet hook aside because her hands don't want to anymore. And that is why she has chosen to donate her things to the museum.

Right now at Holbæk Museum you can see more of Lis Paludan's creations, read more here.
