"Church, Art and Landscape" in Odsherred is the nomination for Kristeligt Dagblad's initiative award.

Church, art and landscape are more connected than you just think. At least that is the point when an art historian, a priest and a geologist invite you on a tour of Odsherred's 16 churches. On the trips, which were launched in April, Provost Karin Bundgaard Nielsen talks about the church today and about faith life in the congregation. Then art historian Jesper Sejdner Knudsen talks about the newer art in the church, in the cemetery or just outside the cemetery wall. And finally, geologist Jakob Walløe Hansen tells about relationships between the church and the surrounding landscape or urban space, after which the participants go for a walk in the cemetery. The last trip of the year takes place on 13 November.
The event is on the list of the 30 church initiatives that have come through the eye of the needle in Kristeligt Dagblad's initiative competition.
