Take a free excursion to Håndværkergaden at Slagelse Museum
Museum Vestsjælland has made a campaign offer for nursing homes and activity centers in Slagelse Municipality, where they can visit Slagelse Museum for free on Wednesdays in the period 14 August – 10 October and 6 November – 19 December 2024.
Händværkergaden is a nostalgic experience that can awaken less and create conversations about the "old days". The visit is a unique opportunity to relive the craftsmanship of the past, which has shaped our present. Walk through the street and look into the blacksmith's workshop, see the carpenter's careful woodwork, and visit the small Latin school with school desk, wooden blackboard and lecterns.
