The association was established in 1908 and has approx. 600 members and seven company members. The association's purpose is to support Kalundborg Museum.

The membership of the Museumsforeningen gives free admission to Kalundborg Museum as well as 1/2 price on admission to all museums within Museum Vestsjælland, 10% discount in the museum's shops and free admission to all lectures arranged by Kalundborg Museumsforening. Three newsletters are published annually, and in addition, members receive up-to-date information by e-mail.

Registration in Kalundborg Museumsforening
You can join the Museumsforeningen by paying the membership fee in cash in Kalundborg Museum's shop and have the membership card issued on the spot, or by paying the membership fee to the association's bank account: Arbejdernes Landsbank, Kalundborg. Registration number. 5367 account no. 244907.
When transferring, remember to write your name, address and e-mail address in the field "Message to recipient". The membership card will be sent by post shortly thereafter.

Company members of the museum association

When subscribing to a company membership, Kalundborg Museumsforening offers the following:

- admission card to the museum for two people per. time - the card can be used by all staff in shifts

- access card for two people at the other museums - the card can be used by all staff in shifts

- 10% discount in the museum shop

- newsletters and the museum's yearbook

- possibility to order specially organized company events in connection with e.g. receptions, anniversaries, general meetings, etc.

Local companies also have the opportunity to support individual projects and special exhibitions or contribute with general sponsorship support and thereby make an active effort to support the local area's cultural heritage and the living cultural institution the museum is.
