HISTORY, CULTURE AND EXCITING ACTIVITIES

Holbæk Museum

In the middle of Holbæk's city center is Holbæk Museum - a collection of 12 buildings, which form the heart of the old town. 11 of the 12 authentic buildings are located in exactly the same place as they were originally built - some as far back as 1660. Købmandsgården was moved there later. The fact that the complex has been preserved is completely unique in Denmark.
Once the entrance fee has been paid, you are free to visit the 8 buildings where the museum has exhibitions. The entrance also applies to the Pilot Boat.

West Indies Exhibition Holbæk Museum

You can experience that

In the museum buildings you will find exhibitions about, among other things, the importance of the West Indies for West Zealand, the development of Holbæk and Knabstrup ceramics. You can also see and experience for yourself how the working-class Jacobsen family lived with 11 children in a 2,5-room house in the 1940s.

Shop and café

In the museum shop you can buy copies of old toys, books, postcards and handicrafts. We also sell coffee and cake, which you can enjoy in the museum's cozy café.

In the farm you can eat food you bring with you all year round.

All buildings and exhibitions

When the entrance to Holbæk Museum is paid, you are free to visit the 8 buildings where the museum has exhibitions.

The entrance also applies to the Pilot Boat and the exhibition in Kystliv Holbæk's hall at Holbæk Harbor 'Man, the vessel and the fjord'.

Museum association

At Holbæk Museum we have a museum association. As a member you get a number of benefits and discounts. In addition, as a member you also help to support the museum, and we are therefore very happy for all our members.
