Lindegården Kalundborg
Contents :

Lindegården is a rare preserved half-timbered farm in a market town. It consists of six long around two courtyards, whose oldest buildings were built in the 1500th century, and the others in the 16th, 17th and 1800th centuries. Under Lindegården there are traces of an older farm from the Middle Ages called Tårngård. It was first Esbern Snare's barn for Vestborgen, and was later owned by the royal power. In recent times, Lindegården has been owned by, among others, sheriffs, priests, mayors and merchants, and from 1910 formed the framework for Kalundborg Museum, until it was merged with Museum Vestsjælland in 2013.
