There are many stories hidden behind the doors of Stenhus Gymnasium. Come inside and hear one of the history teachers at the school tell about the school's exciting history.
Did you know, for example, that during the occupation of 1940–1945, Stenhus Boarding School was the scene of several illegal activities and strongly linked to the resistance movement in Northwest Zealand?
In 1906, the school was started with only 9 students, 7 boarding students and 2 homeschoolers. Since the beginning, the school has undergone rapid development to the present day, where Stenhus is a modern educational institution with more than 1.000 students and more than 100 teachers, making Stenhus one of the country's largest high schools.
When we enter the school, one of the history teachers at the school will tell us about the school's history, with an emphasis on some of the many events that have occurred in the school's 120 years.
