Watch films from Stakhavegård 1942-1952

Come to a cozy movie afternoon, where we show films from the local farm Stakhavegård in Ringsted from the period 1942-1952.

Take a trip to the countryside and be fascinated by the horse-drawn tools – and see how many people were employed on this local farm in Ringsted.

Proprietor Gunnar Nielsen from Stakhavegård filmed the farm himself in the period from approximately 1942 to 1952.

He proudly shows how hay was stacked in the field, how pigs were slaughtered at home on the farm, and later how the tractor came along and made many work processes easier.
We see potato planting, harrowing, and the combine harvester in operation at the end of the period.

The film takes approximately 50 minutes and shows a very special picture of Ringsted.

It is necessary to buy a ticket in advance.

Price: 80 DKK. Coffee and cake for the film are included in the ticket price.

Location: Ringsted Museum & Archives, Køgevej 41, 4100 Ringsted.
