Repair or give your clothes new life with sashiko embroidery. Sashiko is regular stitches combined into simple patterns and in this workshop you will learn the technique.
Sashiko originates from Japan and has been used to repair clothing in Japan for 400-500 years.
At the workshop you will learn how to draw and sew a simple sashiko pattern, and you will get inspiration for how to repair clothes with the technique. The beautiful sashiko patterns can also easily stand alone as decoration on clothes.
Everyone can participate, regardless of whether you have embroidery experience or not.
Water-soluble felt-tip pens, drawing pens, syringes and templates are available.
It is necessary to purchase a ticket in advance. The price includes a needle, fabric and the embroidery thread used during the workshop.
