Sorø Museum is located in his old inn from 1624 – and the house is full of crooked angles, narrow staircases and charming details.
When the light falls through the stained glass windows, the atmosphere is very special.

This evening, the museum curator will talk about Christian IV's work in the city and his colorful life and marriages!
He was a man of pleasure and had at least 21 children with his wives and mistresses.

We will also hear stories about the inn and delve into special local stories, which are shown in the museum's exhibitions.

We also cannot ignore the poet Ingemann, who was an associate professor at Sorø Academy – which Christian IV founded.

The museum offers a glass of wine, snacks and water.

Afterwards, you have free access to view the exhibitions at your own pace with the museum curator.
