If you walk around Holbæk, there is not much left of the old town – certainly not of the town as it looked in the Middle Ages. But you can imagine what it must have been like to live in the Holbæk that has now disappeared.
In the lecture, history teacher Jakob Kousgaard Mikkelsen will talk about some of the colorful and overlooked aspects of what it was like to live in medieval Danish towns – and then compare them with the depictions we have of Holbæk during the period.
