the little miller
In Ringsted Windmill you can see the large grinders that grind grain into flour with the help of the wind. Afterwards, you can go over to the museum and try your hand at flour making. On the old hand grinder, force must be used to grind the grain into flour. It is a good idea to help each other in pairs. The flour must pass through the grinder several times and finally it must be sieved. You are welcome to take your ground flour home afterwards. Grain can also be grinded into flour on the grit stone, as was done in the Stone Age. The grain will be handed out in the Museum shop.
The activity is especially suitable for children from 4 to 12 years.
